People get replaced with midgets made out of burlap sacks.
Thanks to Tim Burton, there's a market for slightly dark animated movies with heavy themes. 9 was a movie that intrigued me from the get-go, but I never got around to seeing. After finally getting the opportunity, I must say that it does not disappoint. It doesn't pull any punches and comes off as a compelling, intriguing and sometimes sad animated film. Excellent voice talent and design also go a long way in making the movie work. If you're looking for something a little different to watch, check it out. It's a nice take on the post-apocalyptic genre and something that deserves a little more visibility.
